One of my red females laid a clutch of eggs Tuesday June 7th. There were 37 eggs but I think that a few are going to go bad soon, but we’ll see.
I am hoping to get something from this pairing. Fingers crossed.
I have started to see more and more breeding activity in the black and whites and the reds. Hopefully eggs will follow, but we’ll see. Here are a couple of pics.
Well it has been a while since I have sat down to write anything. If anyone can tell I am not much of a blogger. Haha. Anyways, cold weather has closed in here and most of the tegus are down. Hopefully I can get some more enclosures done before spring. It is a lot of work but well worth it in the end. When they are under way I will try to get some pictures of the progress as I have always found that to be interesting to see how people build their enclosures.
The next clutch of blues to hatch is getting close, any day now. The first clutch is doing great and should be ready to go soon. I will be updating as soon as they hatch with pictures to follow. I also need to get some new pics of the hatchlings. Well thats about it for now.
The blue tegus hatched out Sunday, September 26. They are doing great and look fantastic. Here are some pics of them.
This blog will be an extension of my website. I will try to update this as often as I can. I will be posting extra pictures here that may not be on the site and any breeding, eggs, or hatchlings that I may have. I hope you enjoy the blog.
I have been working on my site for a while and will hopefully get it live in the near future.
